Updates and Activities!

Saturday, January 6th, 2007

First off, I would like to appologize for the lack of updates and work on the website. I’ve been very busy with school, family, and other issues. But now I have time again, so here we go!

Here are some photos from the recent Prayer Vigil at the Sundial Bridge in Redding, California, which I had the privilege of attending:

The “I Stand For Darfur” walk is taking place this coming Friday, January 12. We’re aiming on heading up to the Redding City Hall, and then to Congressman Wally Herger’s office to talk to him about what we want done!

As for happenings in Darfur, and how we are making an impact, Gabriel Stauring, headman of StopGenocideNow.org, has been in Chad helping the refugees for a little while now, and children from Columbia School have been reading letters and reactions of some of the kids from Darfur, who are taking refuge in Chad. There are extensive posts on Gabriel’s website, and I urge you to check them out.
