An Evening with Omer Ismail

Omer is a leading and eloquent spokesperson for the displaced of Darfur. Born in El Dashir, Darfur, he was forced to flee Sudan. He co-founded the Darfur Peace and Development organization and works as a consultant on the ENOUGH project. Omer is a fellow at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University’s Carr Center for Human Rights.

Following Omer’s presentation there will be a question and answer period.
Refreshments will be served.
